Cecily has a wide range of industry experience with private sector as well as Government experience including: Mining, Petrochemical, Transport, Utilities, Financial Services, Retail, Telecommunications, Insurance, Health, Welfare, Print and Media, Paper and Packaging, Gaming, Recruitment, Agriculture, Wine, Education, IT Services, State and Local Government, Government agencies. Cecily has also worked for companies such as Tier Inc, Gartner, Unisys Australia, Aspect, Wang Australia. Engagements have taken Cecily from the depths of Australia's underground coal mines and cost efficiency strategies, to the development of risk mitigation strategies and hazard identification for the movement of an oil rig, to the due diligence of a potential commercial program for a not-for-profit organisation, to increasing governance of capital projects, increasing organisational project management maturity to increase certainty, predictability and performance of delivery, and to building ICT capability to become business focused and deliver results.

Cecily has been Finance Director for the Hush Music Foundation, that creates music to relieve the stress and anxiety of children in hospital, Deputy Chair of the Board for Ability Australia Foundation, which was dedicated to help the disabled at an operational level and strategic lobbying level, and past vice president of the Victorian chapter of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA). Cecily also chaired the initial Technology Partners Program to ensure continued support for the technology industry.
